So the party has negative SP still (thanks to all the bumblings of Imara picking fights, causing trouble and then apologizing for being useless (shitty friend right there). He has no problem throwing matchs, giving away points and risks expulsion because he doesn’t want to stand out, but then deliberately does something that makes himself stand out (such as beating Yuuki, or stopping S-rank D-bags from killing Felice’s friend). Claims he doesn’t want to stand out, but joins an academy where you HAVE to stand out in order to make it and quickly landed himself on the teacher’s radar for his abilities.

MC is rapidly reaching a point where I flat out don’t care or sympathise with him. Imara I do not care about in the least, she hasn’t developed at all, she’s a train wreck of a friend that isn’t making any kind of improvements at all despite the MC’s apparent tutorage. She’s also not in the least bit concerned about the looming expulsion they’re facing beyond the fact that it’ll affect her, as clumsy as she is self-centered.

The meme potential is “existent”. The premise is okayish, but everything else isn’t even that.
The whole school is a podium, apparently put up to further entertain the goddesses. Only that (probably) the goddesses’s superior planted multiple wildcard seeds and put them on the same table as people playing a whole different game.
I am not even sure, if the heroes can do a single thing other than their unique abilities. The effort/science and magic system only applies to the MC so far and he fudging sux at reacting appropriately.
(prime example: needle dragon)
The concept of power is your average “feels strong” aura bs and the sentimental narrative sux. Literally every single “element of surprise” was teasered/foreshadowed and resolved as exemption of sorts.
“the demon lord is stronger than expected?” Got exceptional help by an amogus hero.
“Said amogus rogue hero can regenerate in measurements of life?” Mc uses the (yet unknown to the audience) subtraction ability of his sword.
“the game is all about points?” here, take this million point “rare” slime.
“there is a barrier countering space magic?” – “we are the resistance and got a free outta-jail-card (suspiciously sponsored by druglord international).
Female companion keeps picking fights she has no chance of winning and trying to force the MC to fight for her. She is kind of a terrible friend honestly. MC hiding his power at this point is kind of getting stale. Too much build up with little pay-off and the premise of him even trying to hide his power in this setting is kind of weird. “I just want to live a normal life” in a death game style school of heroes that fight demons. The normal life is kind of out the window at this point.
So, he was literally separate from others, giving him a perfect opportunity to show his OP powers – and instead the author decide to show him act like a coward, give away his points (that he needs to continue studying/surviving) and he starts running around and searching for his friends, aka he is their babysitter… And the author is a cu*k.. I enjoyed the pretense in the story, but the author really needs to learn how to keep the audience hooked.. Either make the MC into Saitama and focus on his teammates’s struggles/improvements, or make him into an Eminence in Shadow type who can kick ass as a mysterious character.. The current MC hasn’t had ANY good action scenes, even the isekai mission didn’t have the MC wipe the floor with the enemy..
I will drop this manga in the next 5 chapters if nothing changes..
