That prince looks an awfull lot lot like a princess.

I’m honestly impressed with the prince’s character development. It’s exceptionally hard for a narcissistic person to become introspective and even consider that the fault might be with himself.
The prince may not have walked away with all the right lessons, but I’m really satisfied with his growth and I hope his arc continues.
And I think this is a welcome change of pace from the common trope where an oppressive antagonist simply exists to be stomped on by the protagonist in retaliation.
