I get the strong feeling that the party name is supposed to be Unending Era.
The party name is stupid, but it isn’t a mistranslation – the original Japanese is “ラスティングピリオド” which is “Lasting Period”. Blame the original author for not understanding English.
Ever thought that classes/lessons are also called periods?

Maybe it was supposed to be something like ‘Eternal Era’, or ‘Everlasting Age’ , or something similiar… and it got mangled in the translation ?

How could they possibly choose a group name like that?
