Her argument for why he shouldn’t fight or use his magic sword makes zero logical sense, and is an obvious move by the author to force a plot point where “he cannot use his sword” a forceful weakening trope is so annoying. He can literally just refuse to work for anyone anymore. As simple as “no, fuck off mate”
