I have to say that I went into this thinking it was gonna be trash. There are definitely some annoying tropes of course, but Chapters 28 and 29…wow. I’ve never seen the emergence of a villain written so well in a manga before. Very impressed by how they developed that character. Now that I think about it, the growth of other characters is done decently as well. Looking forward to more of this 
This one is sneaky. It lures you in with fan service and the typical tropes, but the first indication that they are going off the rails and into left field is when the King in Yellow shows up and becomes a part of the plot.
