Aaaaand the Griends messed up A LOT! Not only was the MC OP, he’s also immortal, so their betrayal can theoretically be avenged at any given moment because he does not have to spend any amount of time recovering his past strength. Yep, they are screwed!

Maybe use a bit lower level magic if he wants to hide, and why not get furtger away from the kingdom he lived in before, seems people know about him in thus town..
obviously since his real blessing is immortality, he is probably far older than he seems. he probably trained for ages. since he isn’t going to kill them immediately, he probably is planning on staying dead publicly before coming back with a new identity again and again as immortals do .

Time to lay low by putting on this mask everyone will talk about and constantly demonstrating power that noone else is capable of. The disguise is perfect.

The former comrades are so dumb.. if they could easily kill the strongest calamity like guy.. because he was too strong… Wouldn’t they just put a massive target on themselves? For the exact same reason?
