Oh i’m reminded, a couple times in a chapter or two back the AI commented on his processing power being lower making the AI lower.

This is clearly not how computers work. It also suggests the entire AI is on a single chip which is now powered by effectively a 100Watt brain (And only a fraction of that depending on chip size). Not only that there’s a ton of memory of a size i’m not sure would fit on a chip that small.

Different parts of the brain do different things, there’s a center for visual and audio processing, a section for memory, a section for automated processes (heart rate, liver, breathing, etc). The size of the ‘chip’ would have to be massive to reach all of these.

And an understanding of actual chip makeups, tends to be pins, you’ll also have twice as many pins as you actually need, half of them as grounds. We can assume it has an internal timer where older chips you needed an external quarts timer of 1-100Mhz to tell it when to move to the next cycle as not every instruction runs at the same speed.

Yeah i know i’m complaining about fiction with our world, but if the AI was a huge machine that blew up and a tiny chip happened to give the person an AI that doesn’t make sense unless the chip was just a communication device that happened to plug in the right spots.
