Summary
A brief description of the manhwa Doctor’s Time Travel To Joseon:
“Is Joseon truly here? However, I still need to save lives!”
After touching a mystery artwork, Baek Kang-hyuk, the best surgeon in South Korea, finds himself transported back in time to the Joseon period. And above all, just prior to the Imjin War’s start!

I’m at chapter 17 and still enjoying the read. I hope it continues for the succeeding chapters.
I think I’ve read a light novel for this
Low key kinda good. It’s a comedy btw, and legitimately funny.
is this murim or historical fantasy?
Is he trying to find the bodybuilder?
I’m a bit conflicted on this story.
I’m a huge fan of Lloyd Frontera from the Greatest Estate Developer, and the protagonist of this story is basically a bootleg version of him… which is still a major plus in my book since Lloyd is absolutely HILARIOUS.
I’m also a large fan of “I Reincarnated as a Legendary Physician” which this story shares a ton of plot beats with. Which, I’m also cool with, it’s always fun to see another take on how things could execute differently. “I Used High-Level Medicine to Counter Magic” is also a delightful read.
The problem I have with this story, is while it’s still very entertaining, there are a lot of plot beats that pull me out of my enjoyment with irresponsible/negligent practices. Like having a character whose entire medical training amounts to “I’d like to help” take the lead on a surgery.
I can’t help but feel like the author of “Doctor’s Time Travel To Joseon” only did the barest of research. This story is a lot of fun, but it pulls me out of my enjoyment with needless recklessness frequently.
