who knows but the flying loon … moon sect was mentioned, that was his mothers sect however. Other than that, the rest is a mystery. They are however pointing to a period where there was a lot of factional wars in the “stories universe” (I don’t want to call the religious wars, but technically they would be as a religion is ‘a personal set or institutionalized system of attitudes, beliefs, and practices’).
Thus far the male end of the business has not been mentioned, however why doesn’t the short sword know this information? Or maybe it has forgotten it all? Kind of weird as it should know all the prior masters business likely. Maybe it wasn’t around when his mother was … conceiving things? 😀
For all we know his father is the murim alliance leader, though that seems a bit unlikely.
