I think this series does have a bit of a weakness. It tends to tell rather than show, Focusing more on the talking than any sort of actions. While that does help to speed things up, it also manages to make things more dull.
All the intrigue is in the background while the rest is just talking, which I wouldn’t mind if all the talking points were entertaining or managed to cleverly cut out the fat of the details that don’t really need to be heard. At this point its more novel than manga.
My guess is that the writer was a business major or enthusiast and decided to make his story mostly about that, but even on that side of things something needs to happen.
