Hm… I don’t know with this story.
It feels they put way too much detail into the plotpoints that deal with management and organizational duties of a ruler, and hardly any into building up real relationship and feelings. The trauma of the circumstances that led her to being the fief head aren’t explored enough, the intricacies behind the political relationship and personal fallout of the ending of the engagement seem hollow. I still don’t feel like I know anything about the characters that started the story (i.e. the prince, his new love interest, the brother, and the other “target” characters). And now the main character is suddenly deeply in love with Dean? It hardly feels as if they had any truly meaningful scenes together.
To me, this all just seems really boring and weirdly paced. Too much focus on one part, too little focus on all the other parts.
The art is very pretty, though.

OK this here, this creates more intrigue. I am willing to revise my previous mini review from earlier.
Its not just that there’s nothing happening, its also that there’s no real emotion being expressed by anyone. This is the most emotion we’ve gotten out of anyone in the series so far since the first chapter. They managed to help you relate to how she’s feeling.
I have a high tolerance for boring dialogue and tedious filler stuffing. If it wasn’t for that, I would have dropped this series already. Im still giving it a shot because of the themes I’ve seen so far interest me. I just wish it was more interesting.
