training arc? or learning arc?
I’m definitely seeing some of the growing up, but also, I see this trio as the three parts of the mind: the id, impulsiveness(the horse); the ego, reality (the cat), and the superego, the lich(emotions).
reva thinks that the lich, is a representative of a child irl and the black cat is his parents and he is growing up, and the cat is teaching him everything he needs to know to face the real world, but the cat is more “cold” to the mc, so tht it fits in the comedy genre
Its a beautiful story, the MC is learning more about being human & the world is not all rainbows & sunshine, he must learn you cannot help everyone & understand the world around you…. He is naive but it makes sense what he is going thru
