damn, i caught up
awesome, well written and very fun. there is sometimes scenaristics shorts-cuts but it’s okay because the story is fire
. Deserve at least 4,8/5 and for me it’s a 4,9/5. really good
How is story becoming so good and mature after dozen chapters? It is about conflict between law and justive, ideals and real world limitations. It is damn good. No Game of thrones but not a typical fantasy either.
Best I found here in months.
So here i am once again…First let me Begin with how much i enjoyed reading this Manhua and how i grew fond of this story, it made me laugh, cry and all those emotions that i rarely show at the same read. This one so far made me thought it would all be fun and games since you know a talking skeleton. But he is unlike the other Mc that are Op this one Litch grew from his mistakes and we were there to witness his greatness, i really can’t believe it took me 100+ chapters to read this one. I just can’t express myself enough about how glad i am to read this one, thus may i atleast invite you to stop and read this one and join us on this adventure.
It’s 3 am for me and I’ve now binge read this entire series up to chapter 171 in 2 days. I can’t believe this series had slipped under my radar for so long. Sometimes you can feel the plot being a bit contrived and cliche, though I believe the ends justify the means with where they’ve brought the story to now, and I can feel the story is reaching a shifting point thanks to Skeleboi’s insane character development as of late. But damn I really enjoyed this series way more than I thought I would, some satisfying aspects being the political scheming and how good and immersive the world building is despite how little a 3rd perspective narrator boringly explaining everything is used but rather dropping you into this world where you learn by seeing what unfolds, but really most of all I love how it speaks about morality, justice, and power through its amazingly written characters. This series will make a fine addition to my collection
Ngl, this was one of the first books I read on this website and my first book that made me sob just a little, great book. Should definitely read it. Although some of the later chapters get boring.
I was interested how the tittle sounds like. Its so irony dramatization. But when i read it till ch 170.. nope. The term “undead” could easily be switched with anything! Because later on, everyone will just ignore the fact that MC is a lich. There wont be surprise element anymore from this tittle except in very early chapters.
One to be noted, this manhwa is built on ignorance and misunderstanding cliches!! You could see it in almost every chapters!! I once write that ignorance and misunderstanding cliche is the most cheap and horrible way of writing tactic. It will ignore almost every elements in the plot. Makes the previous plot(s) useless.
The author really really really work hard to makes normal things looks amazing by using these ignorant and misunderstanding cliches.. use it as worst example to compare with normal thing(s) later on and then glorify it. Even in first chapter, this is how he make his ironical drama title start. And once the story enter political phase.. by using the same cliches, he makes the politic becomes a baby politic!! Everything is ruined! Economy, social structure, religion, tradition and even the politic itself becomes useless.. because of MC ignorance!! And whats more illogical is.. everyone just let the MC do it.. even tho they know that hes so ignorant. It is so forced plot really!! And happened again and again and again.. But when he achieve something normal.. author will always glorify it. Whats more astonishing is, later.. MC will walk in both path, angelic and demonic. Makes ALL his previous glorified paladin achievement becomes worthless! And this part is the only plot twist i found in this manhwa. Theres also repetition plot on how MC get his companion(s), friend(s), and army. Seems like the author cant think another way how to do it. So readable and boring really..
The story itself really could be a good one just IF the author use another cliche. It is slow paced story with quite decent level of details. But not in political phase. It still could makes me curious of what will be happen in the next chapter.
Char build is kinda lacking.. Except for MC ignorances.. it will always be instant abilities, skills, items, even in relationship and etc.
Art is decent.. its combination of chibi and candy palettes. It also has good art details especially in combat. I also thought that there will be fans service of this.. but nope.. not even big melon avalaible to sell. Its a kid friendly art really.

Im so frustrated on how this manhwa built on ignorance and misunderstanding cliches. Its always that and will always be that. Even tho theres political aspect in this manhwa, it is far from decent because of these cliches. But if you could put these aspects aside, it still has quite interesting story to tell and art to support. My suggestion, just read this as extra.. not more than that.
It’s good but it’s not something you should read in bulk like me, read it across a period of time because I found this and I was reading through it and I thought it was really good however I got tired at some point of all the political ups and downs of the story because the Mc is not experienced when it comes to that, there was to many big changes happening and it ultimately got me disinterested in it. But don’t get me wrong it’s good.
Anyone starting to read this manga my advice is go for it! First when I started reading I thought it’s a good story to time pass but I was wrong and it far more than that. The clash of ideologies and truth of humans and describing their nature runs deep. Very good manga without any shitty romance. Just pure and plain.
All my braincells thought this was Undertale 🥴

An absolutely terrific story about the clash between ideologies, and how ideals are twisted into reality. Fairy tales are not reality. Is the correct choice to follow reality, or is it to make imagination into truth? Is it correct to spare one’s life, knowing that they will have a high chance of death later on due to related complications, and with none of the death benefits that would come with? Is it acceptable to overturn order for better ideals? What is morality? What is justice? Who is in the right, and who is in the wrong?
In the end, who has the right to decide the answers?
Fight of ideologies and phylosophical questions about what right and what wrong? Heck yeah, Im in. This manhwa shares simillarities to MGR, where MC faces different situations that challenges his ideals.
This was one of my favorite reads of all my reading history I recommend this a five out of five for it’s great story art and characters
