Been wondering about this for sone chapters now. Is the translation of wet nurse correct?
It sounds very strange that one noble mother would wet nurse another noble mom’s baby.
Isn’t the whole point behind wet nursing that the noble mother doesn’t need to breast feed the baby herself?
Wasn’t it traditionally a local servant that happened to have a kid a year or two before the noble that became the wet nurse?
