Why do the writers always do this. Why can’t it ever be a series of somewhat meaningful but ultimately limited problems. Why does there always need to be a secret organization, manipulative god or an empire/religion with world conquest aspirations.

Just officially accept Freya as a Concubine. The MC needs to stop thinking about how things are done in his world and just accept what has to be done in that world. It seems all Japanese men are adamant about keeping to their ideals no matter what. Which is highly annoying.
