ive tried playing enough d&d campaigns to see it several times… roll a d20 6 times… before creating your character class and details… and u keep what is rolled (some online groups pick who gets to join a campaign based on luck aka ppl who roll highest)
1 3 2 4 1 2… (once campaign starts, unless you are just playing for laughs… player would do everything to get their character killed asap to roll a new one.)
or
20 20 19 18 17 20. (who the DM then puts in a situation that gets them killed for lolz)
big funny, was game starts with crappy rolls, crossing a river balance check on rocks… so u do a use rope check / grappling hook which you arent proficient in. player gets lucky…
d20=1 critical fail tangled in own ropes
d20=1 balance fall in river
d20=1 use rope to untangle = ur char drowns (reroll new char)
new char rolls 3 7 4 5 2 1
