Sadly not all manga end happily, Eren chose saw a future where eldians will mostly survive, he took the title of becoming a villain and antagonizing everyone including his friends and his only family mikasa, he saw the future once in a blunder and lead him to make the decisions we witness up to this point, even though he himself was afraid and felt really guilty about the lives he took, he still wanted to live and be with his friends but Eren knows if that happens it will only lead to a much more devastating disaster for the eldians. He chose his country rather than the world, he may be a tyrant but he’s also a savior, he might be scared but he was brave enogh to do this, he might be weak but he kept pushing forward, he kept fighting for his people.
This may not be perfect but it is truly a master piece.

he took the responsibility of removing discrimination and achieving peace by turning himself into a villain, he is goal was freedom from the walls which turned into freedom from war and hate. The ending is really good because eren is not a usual shounen protagonist. This ending matches the character of eren very well.
