rather than the nearby research facility (…that happened to be researching exactly the thing that leaked… and had accidentally leaked other things before…) lab leak theory.

They walked from an outside door (large windows next to the door with light shining in), to the place where she shows them the bed.
The style of the wall and floor is identical to the room seen before.
It’s a long rectangular room, so long it seems thin/narrow. Like a hallway. Also a carpet is running down the middle, increasing that impression.

Hmm, an artifact that never allows failure? Did Jumper get his hands on that when he conquered Odins tower? And the seven sins apparently “breaks all mana connections”. Maybe the sins are a way to strip awakener abilities from everyone on the planet all at once and/or prevent the portals from being opened for the invasion?
