This chapter is completely disconnected from the on before it and the one after it.
Chapter 27 ends with mc going to train with a new girl and Chapter 29 starts with the mc talking about how he’s friend with the girl he trained with and her roommate who he is never shown meeting; and how his parents have been diving into the dungeon with him and his sister that that isn’t shown at all.
