Prince big boy arc
I would like to ask if we forgot about the start of this story where we saw the mc take on at least 10-20 trained soldiers and then the general guy he got his sword from.
Now we are saying the max he can take on is 5 I mean I get that he could have still been tired and exhausted from the previous day and the advance party but they mentioned nothing about that story wise.
Did the mc suddenly get weaker or did I miss something.
Character development done right
Character development is always important
Realistic? Naa that would be dying from being hit by so many arrows and collapsing from blood loss. Or the veteran enemy “barbarian hunter” letting his guard down in such a stupid manner. If you want to suspend realism, do it interestingly; like a satisfactory ending to a built up enemy.
It was just anti-climactic and poor story writing. They wanted to show development in the prince without actually grounding it in realism or integrate it into good story telling.
I enjoy the story. This bit simply fell flat.

That glimmer in Varuka’s eyes as he looks down at his own dirty, chaffed hands was something to beyond. He’s really growing.
This is quite realistic you cant expect epic battle after mc is exhausted. You read too much shounen manga.
Anticlimactic battle, thought there would be more of a fight, but then he was caught by surprise so easily
naaa he for real a homie they the type of friends where one gets into a fight and when he is done and weak his buddy come to carry him home
Damn I was hyped for an epic duel and it just ended like that
