Barbarian Quest

This is likely one of the best manhwa I’ll ever read. The art is consistently beautiful, leagues above any other, and it perfectly matches the realistic tones of the story as Urich immerses himself in medieval society.

He is the main character and driving force and honestly, I hope his demeanour is in inspiration to men everywhere. I love how rightfully confident he is whilst not demeaning others. He doesn’t need to put others down to hide his insecurities, no, instead he is thoughtful, acting as a father/big brother figure to those close to him. It’s a bit rarer but I also love his innocent curiosity when he engages with something he doesn’t know or understand; it’s really refreshing.

The world building is slow and methodical, focusing almost entirely on the characters and their decisions as they trudge towards their goals. It all adds to that sense of reality; the sense that their lives and their actions matter and consistently rewards those feelings.
