Did those guys even read the same story? Alicia was betrayed by MC. She was engaged to him, and he brought over a stranger to his house, and then stopped paying attention to her. Eventually, he changed his personality and became an asshole to everyone. After years of being treated poorly and having a soured relationship, she’s supposed kiss the ground MC walks on because he saved her? I think she’s wrong in trusting someone she doesn’t know, but she isn’t wrong for not trusting MC, who has already betrayed her trust in the past.
