I have memory like a goldfish and forgot I prepared this screenshot.
All you would get with that method, is a lot of glass shards.
Glass works need to be cooled down very slowly, sometimes over the span of days (for thicker pieces). And often preheated slowly before you add more glass. Else the internal stress will rip it apart.
