I got to say though, the revenge on the 3 kids was kind of disappointing. All we got was 1 hit, and everything else was off screen. In the words of John Malkovich, “I feel so unsatisfied.”
When the mother thanked that dark guy for protecting MC, I’m assuming it’s because it was at that time when he decided to join the competition. So it was protection as a competitor, not a life-long protection thing (from being bullied). Unless I misinterpreted. If it was a life-long thing, they sure sucked at it.
The three kids that beat up the MC daily all looks a bit too healthy…
