The japanese industry is trying to emulate the webtoon formula because it’s popular and it’s selling. The problem is that most of us didn’t swap from reading mangas to webtoons because of the format or the colorful art but rather because the quality of the stories in mangas was so low it was just unreadable.

Japanese mangakas now trying to make webtoons after seeing how much popularity and thus profits these webtoons have gained, and it’s the Japanese’s fault as well cuz they’ve been producing complete dogshit stories since let’s be honest most webtoons are waaay better than most mangas, at first they were making their own webtoons from scratch now they’re even remaking already established mangas
