A brief description of the manga Blade of Retribution:
On the day that Kendo Champion Shiho decided to help out his single mother run a Gukbap restaurant, he received news that his sister, Shiyeon, committed suicide. During the funeral, Shiho realizes that something was wrong. It wasn’t a suicide, she was murdered. DONT READ THIS! ALL of mcs friends/family/comrades die, the pacing’s dragged, the main villain is still alive and getting away with everything, MC is powerful but always fighting small fry, NOTHING about this manhwa is good except the art. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK Honestly at this point the main villain couldn’t be more evil, I’m almost certain the authors a sadist at this point and its actually gross.

It eventually gets boring with all the filler gangster characters 65 chapters in he hasn’t even killed the the main bad guy of this arc so he can proceed to the organization pulling the strings I declare its trɑsh until progress is made

So a bunch of gangers kill and possibly rape his sister, and his response to them when they break into his apartment ands try to kill him is “go’, wow, what a badass… Seriously though don’t read this, it’s horrible, went back to see if my prediction earlier was wrong and it wasn’t, it’s awful, mc is strangely portrayed as some kind of antihero, hell bent on revenge, yet he refuses to kill anybody, and resorts to beating people with folded newspaper and sticks while he’s getting attacked by corrupt police officers, gangs, mafiosa, and corrupt government officials, honestly a piece of shit manhwa, it pisses me off that such good artists are wasted on such horrible writers.

The mc doesnt kill anyone, he beats the people who come to kill him inside his house without killing them, he doesnt kill the people who kill his mother he just beats them up and takes them to the police station for some stupid reason, he dont use a real katana to fight, just a kendo toy sword, he hold down his anger every time and doesnt let it go even when thugs came to the funeral of his mother to destroy it and made fun of it.. i can still go on and on. I dont like this manhwa, but maybe if you like to see such and mc then this might be a master piece to you
