They keep taking away every single human connection she makes. No wonder she’s become an emotionless walking nuke. And that just empathizes the sheer impact the MC had in her!
But according to the masters of exposition, would’ve been better to resume all this flashback in four or five dialog bubles at the beginning of the story…

Ah yes, don’t tell why to the kid, it takes 2 seconds to say “king is lying to you”, but says useless crap

I am rather confused. Think I know whats going on but it must be from the kids perspective so alot of crap is being left for interpretation.
