One of the things I don’t like about this manga/series is the endless focus on side characters and constant “rivalry”. Isagi also doesn’t have a defining factor character wise.

I feel like the author is addicted to cliff hangers and this hurts the story a lot because it’s becoming so dry that I only finished it so that I could say that I have a full feel of the plot. Letting the characters actually have badass moments lets the narrative push on easier.
Where the f*ck is the payoff? How are any readers supposed to get invested if theres nothing that they get? I love the art direction however that’s the only point in the manga’s side here. I feel nothing from this.
