Blue Lock

Keep in mind, this is my third review, so if you could give me a review on how I did, I would appreciate it. Let’s give this a kick.(See what I did there?)

Plot(10/10): Amazing. The plot is just amazing. It’s unique, and has a good story. It’s about Yoichi Isagi, a high school soccer player who joins a training program called “Blue Lock” after his team fails to qualify for nationals. The program, led by Jinpachi Ego, aims to create the world’s greatest egotist striker by isolating 300 young forwards in a prison-like facility and putting them through intense training.

Plot Development(9/10): Great. The story arcs and development is a W. tons of parts that make the plot greater.

Character Development(10/10): I can’t even describe it. It’s just that good at the character development

Side Characters(10/10): Awesome. The side characters usually play some role in the story, whether as allies or as enemies. Either way, they help the MC get stronger usually.

Art Style(9/10): Nice, the art is amazing, character designs are unique and sharp, and the dark theme fit the story. You can clearly see the emotions that the players feel. Each chapter has epic panels

Action(10/10): Tons. The soccer action is just crazy

Darkness(8/10): pretty dark sometimes, especially with Jinpachi Ego

MC(10/10): W. He is not overpowered but not too weak.

Comedy(8/10): Pretty good. Some funny moments in the art and story.

Backstory(8/10): MC passed and lost a chance for the nationals so now he wants to change.
