Another comparison to Nagi is Nanase who qualified in stead of Nagi, Nanase decided he was bad but still wanted to survive, and he did everything he could to do so, he sacrificed his pride and worked hard to be in that place as shown previously while that Bum Nagi slacked off every possible time and just tried to cope and stay positive. He deserves to be cast off honestly, I hated him from the start. Him dying here proves the excellency of this manga, character with the concept of “genuis who doesn’t need to try and work hard” dying here to a second rate nobody who worked hard and tried so far in the story is the proof of why this shit is goated in my opinion, we saw other characters who were in deep despair and in the edge of the cliff with 2 life changing choices, and all of those characters chose the right passage so far through their will and ego. Nagi is an examplary character to show what would happen if they chose the wrong decision with no thought put behind it.
