This is getting a remake but as a traditional manga it’s the best thing that ever happened to the world 
I hope this gets an anime, this thing is capable of making me cry.
The story is 10/10, very emotional, nothing complicated, just to enjoy.
I recommend skipping the one-panel-per-chapter version if you prefer this longer format.But if you want to see the full story without having to wait you can search for it, the name is The Apothecary Will Make This Battered Elf Happy.

A very sweet and wholesome story, one of the first that got me into romance as a genre. Expect mostly single panels with the occasional double panel or short chapter. Plot is exactly what it says on the tin, an apothecary with a murky past finds a slave elf who’s on the verge of death, buys her freedom, then slowly nurses her back to health via various means. Easily a 9/10 in my book, my only real complaint is how rushed the ending was.
A remake? Very good. 😎
