It is the same as to why alot of wars just keep going instead of stopping…
As soon as the good people are about to end it.. one of those Profiting / enjoying the war, act to sabotage allies and create situations to keep it going irl alot…
Eg: war final battle about to end… in victory… so sabotages just enough to kill / weaken allies(competitors) so when war finishes they took least damage… (aka banker/merchant tactics/practices described in detail in the satanic cult book to make the most self gain with NO morals)
