new weapon for close combat . . . . . . . . if only there was a weapon whose SOLE PURPOSE IN LIFE, was close combat, I don’t even know if there is a gun that exists like that, but if there was, I would probably call it a SHOTGUN! Also, you have a hard time killing something that has armor, if only you had a stronger gun

He made the right choice in handguns, a revolver is less finicky, and more durable than a slide action pistol. Especially when you have to club someone with it. *cough*
I would seriously just PROTOTYPE, Alex Mercer the heck out of it all and have everything instead… Imagine magically shapeshifting some goo into a weapon like “Venom” but for weapons…that would be sick …or it could be like Generator Rex which more machine like design but still in the same-ish idea.
