So basically, Dazai got himself shot at the absolute worst time when he knew he’d need to be there to outsmart Dostoyevsky.
Any information Dostoyevsky gave to Dazai would only be info he intentionally wanted to spread anyway, so Dazai gained nothing from getting shot, btw.
What they all should be realising is that both leaders dying is a preferable outcome to war, which will destroy both forces. It’s better for both sides to work together to stop Dostoyevsky and accept the risk of both leaders dying.
