Nakajima Atsushi was kicked out of his orphanage, and now he has no place to go and no food. While he is standing by a river, on the brink of starvation, he rescues a man whimsically attempting suicide. That man is Dazai Osamu, and he and his partner Kunikida are members of a very special detective agency. They have supernatural powers, and deal with cases that are too dangerous for the police or the military. They’re tracking down a tiger that has appeared in the area recently, around the time Atsushi came to the area. The tiger seems to have a connection to Atsushi, and by the time the case is solved, it is clear that Atsushi’s future will involve much more of Dazai and the rest of the detectives!

Im gonna die if dazai dies purchase the official volumes to support the author! the last chapter they uploaded was in 2022 so I doubt they will continue to upload again such a good manga and it also has an anime as well as a game altho its so sad in the last chapters… Dazai just didnt even hesitate.. ;(
I’m a hardcore fan of this series (manga and anime…and the game’s nice, too), and I was surprised to see this here. Just so you know, Kindle versions are further along than this. It’s good enough that I strongly advise y’all to drop real money on this series if you can, support the author, so she (he?) can keep making this awesome manga.
A quick review: great concept (real-life authors reimagined to have super powers based on their actual written works), deep characters, and some twists and turns I was not expecting (I read/write a lot, so I’m a bit jaded regarding plot predictability). I actually looked up some of the Japanese authors (I was familiar w/ most of the American & English ones), and I’m currently enjoying Rashoumon by Akutagawa Ryuunosuke. Already read some Nakajima; Chuuya & Dazai are next on the list. I can’t recommend it enough, and again, if you love it, show the author/artist some love!
