I think his father’s brother will stir up the issue. I would say both MC and instructor are correct but instructor words will make sense in distant future but not now. Why because the sword winterer itself a material of conquest if they come to know.

True… Why the f*ck would he want that ? Up until recently he was still the second son of a noble family, with a talented brother who was to inherit the territory. So there’s no point in growing this strong if this ambition wasn’t instilled in him earlier.
This instructor isn’t really that smart. He figured MC’s identity, but isn’t able to think 3 sec about his situation before suggesting accusations. He’s just a dumb thief.

The mc did a lot of wrong things along the way I get it the story is more realistic in character I also understand he is a child and is a noble child who isn’t made for rough world but when a person face high trauma they naturally change mc should be more calculative since he can do that without restriction of age or body
