Did I really read that <I>in a manga</I>? Wow. Unfortunately a slice-of-life is simply too light-hearted to explore mature themes. In reality, the MC’s lack of follow-through would have already led to problems by now, but the author only realized this after the fact. That’s why he’s only going to lampshade it and hope we don’t notice his goof.

The resort was Japanese. The MC didn’t know sht other than what was mentioned to him about the resort. This is the problem with children who merely look at the pictures and don’t read.
