Summary

A brief description of the manga Chillin Different World Life Of The EX-Brave Candidate Was Cheat From Lv2:

Banaza was called to the magical kingdom of Cryroad as a contender for the title of hero. After a while, the young man was put to rest, as he looked like the most ordinary citizen. He wanted to go back to the normal, unremarkable world, but he had to live in a new world because of the mistakes of the heads of state.

He has changed his name and decides to spend his life on the most pleasant things. One day, exploring the new world, the main character kills mucus and gets the rank of “2”. The hero decides to check how his characteristics have changed with the new level.

After opening the appropriate menu, the hero becomes numb with surprise: now there is a sign “∞” in front of each value. This means that it’s time for a relaxed life and an amazing adventure!

I stopped reading the manga and novel early because this story is still unfinished right? So far afaik this ex hero is yet to be truly defeated or unalived but what’s keeping him here unscathed is probably dumb luck lol. For such a Narcissistic scumbag his Luck sure is high. Like some god like Loki or so granted him it so he can make chaos to this stagnating world.

I got pulled into this manga from the anime adaption of it. Though that was just one episode covering the first few chapters, I actually enjoyed this read. Could there be improvement, yet, but the piece is overall great. I would like to see the MC be defeatedly at least once but the strive for peace amongst the land is a great goal to be achieving. I’m liking the story building and finding out more about the history of the world. The 3rd hero was a nice touch. I’m excited to see where this goes and just how big and powerful the MC’s little rag tag family grows. Keep going, you’re doing great.!

This is an honest 8.5/10 for me. I’m a huge sucker for romance and this is pretty good. I enjoyed the series a lot and I’ll read more of it when it comes. It’s getting animated so pretty hyped for that. I usually don’t watch the animated version cuz I usually already know what happens later on but this is one of the very few series that I’ll probably watch. Anyways this manga is one I recommend of you are also a sucker for romance 🙂

After reading 51 chapters, I can say that it is an average manga that you could waste a lot of time on. For the problems, the dialogue can get very heavy in some parts, then morality issues kick in other parts, then the mc deliberately acts dumb in others and finally the story line flow just putts along. Now this would not be an issue if it was an unique idea with generic manga settings that had more then enough gags and laughs to keep you interested. Unfortunately this manga is like a car that is running out of gas, moves along then stalls, moves along and stalls again and again and again, all after about chapter 15. So I tried to focus on the romance side of it, thought the harem route was a possibility but that was shut down and just forgotten. I thought the mc and wife was going to be a nice issue and it was in a new event at the hot spring but even that has dragged out to just innuendos and hints at love by later chapters. Esmondtheleo has suggested that the LN hints at other kids and romances but at this pace of manga, definitely not good. I will book mark this manga and hope it gets a full tank of gas to pick the pace up and become a good read again like the first 10 to 20 chapters.

MC making a lot of useless and vain shit, he is dumb AF and acts as a buddhist monk. All plot of story is about: poor MC wants to live a peaceful live, but bad demons fighting with bad humans, making a shit ton problems to him and he worry about every little shit. This story, and MC in main, just lacks cruelty.
P.s. I think with that poor bastard wolf girl won’t be pregnant until 150+ chapter.

Read the light novel a while back. It was good early on but later the most interesting thing is who gets together and how many kids they have. It drags on that way do if your good with the “big family” kind of story then you might enjoy this. Otherwise, it definitely gets to be sub par and I couldn’t even finish the latest released LN because it was that boring. I was reading it all because I started it when their was only 2 books released and now its just not keeping my attention.

within the first 3 chapters this manga manages to shove in so many tropes and stupid bs that its barely even a story its just a rough combination of other stories.

i actually like this manga i usually stray away from ones like these but it is pretty good and the actions of the mc and people around him actually have consequences i wont spoil but you will see how the actions of the mc make him falter and feel guilt even for a short period of time it still happens

it’s a good manga but due to the mc op power and his self righteousness he get to push is views on others without issues. I think this is why most manga like this don’t last long since as long as the mc always pushes their views on the opposing party and they change that fast there is no weight to conflict.
