I seriously love the Murim Genre, man, it’s just too good. It’s like if Star Wars wasn’t own by Disney but instead Public Domain that anyone can make good stories about it. Not every Murim Story is the same, it’s also a bit more simpler so long as you do a deep dive and understand how to write the Magic System, much easier than Japanese Isekai cuz you have to deal with learning so much about the Medieval History.
It’s also quite interesting the difference between different versions of the Demon Cult, this one is much calmer and kind of “Good”? Much less violent and evil compared to other versions of the HDC. Reminds me of my country, in my region of the world 6 years ago we were considered the submissive dog punching bag of Ch1na, but after our Administration changed we’re now the most aggressive in countering Ch1nas aggression. A complete Turnaround from the previous Governments foreign policy.
