Not the worst thing you could read if you have the time, just that the mc is painfully bland/generic.
Considering the current rating of 4.7, you would expect something more interesting

This is one of the best Murim Manhwa’s I’ve ever read! 10/10. The Art, the Story, The Characters, The Pacing, everything is great. The only criticism I have would be I need more chapters, and that sometimes… The Art is a bit inconsistent when it comes to showing the environmental damage caused by the Superhuman battle’s.
At first I didn’t like it that much, the Art was a bit “Stiff”, reminded me of that other Murim Manhwa, “Moon Shadow Sword Emperor”, the MC’s Faces look weird sometimes. And the Main Character of this Manhwa went from “Cold Blooded Killer” to “Average Annoying Shounen MC” to “Likeable Giga Chad Sigma Male” MC. Seriously, the Main Character of this Manhwa is very Likeable. He’s no Simp, he’s not Brainless, he’s Smart and Logical, He’s not a Puppet to the Story or to any Character. He is a King on his quest to Conquer.

I dropped this chapter 9 for the sole reason I was expecting something more from something with a 4.7 rating. You’ll probably like this if you’re new to manhwa or the Murim genre.
It’s nothing new, it’s the whole “My spirit was transferred to a weak body when I was killed” trope. My only real complaint is that the mc, the strongest assassin before his death, acts just acts like any other manhwa mc. He doesn’t stand out in anyway, apart from possessing assassin skills but nothing else thus far.
I feel like this series had a lot of missed potential. It’s fine as it is now, but it didn’t really try anything new or was outstanding in any way. I might be missing out on the later chapters but the earlier chapters are meh.

Amazing journeys with unique story and training, there is enough comedy, enough training, enough politics, enough time skip, all of them was perfect balance so by the pov of a chef, it’s a delicious dishes 😁.

To those wondering if they should read this since in the description he seems to be cool, well sorry to disappoint you. I’ve read until his fight with blindy. She’s the leader of berserk group. The author forgot that this MC was once an assassin so he became a cliche repossessed MC from other manhwa. I think he’s trying to copy the MC from that other manhwa with that alcoholic MC, Chun Ma or something (forgot the title). Unfortunately, author made his MC literally a kid trying to be cool like that one classmate pretending he’s Goku or Naruto. Instead of solving the issue right there and then, he will spout some cringy lines like “I know what you did last summer..” and shit. Dude was supposed to be 3rd boss but for some reason, he’s unable to put people below him on their place including the dumbass 4th boss whose main goal is to murder his ass. You would think they’re on some orthodox clan if they’re not constantly mentioning they’re demon sect. And that’s not how f*ck!ng demon sect works (i know after 1000+ comics about them). I also think MC’s gay since it seems like he’s showing off for the berserk dudes. It’s like he wants their berserk dick or something so he beats that one girl member. But it’s just my opinion. Read it if you want.

8.2/10 Rather enjoyable I’d say, I love the characters as well as the mc. The plot is well off despite being a generic concept and the art is nice too. It is a satisfying story to read, I adore the bamboo forest arc

Character Development, 7.8/10 —–> 9.3/10 (The early chapters were rough as it didn’t make sense and then when the realization hits you feel dumb)

Comedy, its got some good moments
MC 7.2 —–> 9.1/10 (MC made a big turn around about accepting who he was and his goal (moving on) which not all manhwa or manhua MC do

Punch able Villains, welp its murim so that’s pretty much everyone
Plot Armor, With how he started close to the top near the beginning it makes sense how his power scaling works so I would argue not that much
Memorability, It has a good memorability
Fights, The fights are absolutely fantastic so 9.5/10
