You can’t escape humanity when you haven’t truly lost yourself in desire and emotion. Be angry, laugh and cry.. be true to your emotions to become the most beautiful human.
Basically to reach enlightenment you need to embrace your whole self, not just part of it.
That’s why so many fail because they focus on anger and hate and disregard other emotions like sadness, love and fear as a weakness.. thus they will never be able to reach their full potential..
It’s quite the beautiful and very positive philosophy.. coming from someone labeled as demonic.
Ah this chapter is great, it’s always a treat when these two talk to each other. You can tell that MC does not want to reveal his past but still does not want to lie to the Demon Lord, and same with the Demon Lord knowing something is up with MC but still being okay with not knowing exactly what it is.

i absolutely love the developing relationship between master and disciple. I’m sure he put himself on a higher podium then others, do to his position in his past life being a master assassin, so I’m happy to see the mc cant look at himself like that anymore and more as a student
