why become a knight and be restricted when he can become an adventurer and meet loads of people and monsters with desirable skills and no attachment for if they start asking him how he got the skills ?
Do some sort of heroic act and ask to fist bump all the heads of the knights and the king??? Maybe monarch is a bloodline skill set?

So you can copy skills just by doing fist bumps.
Make friends, or get them drunk/asleep and then do some fist to fist romance.
So it’s that easy to get a skill. Now the question is, how much skills he can get?
