It’s definitely not “bad” but it’s slow as f., and for my tastes it lacked something. The chapters almost never felt exciting to me, apart for the beginning.
I’d say, of the 50 chaps I’ve read, the first half was remarkably interesting and original albeit slow, but the rest lost momentum and felt meh.

im calling pauline mom dies or gets some big tradgedy to push MC for growth later, hope im wrong but it is like THE cliche for a story setup like this.(just finished chapter 3 so this is in no way a spoiler)
