Here’s the deal:
- the writing is decent
- the art is good
- the fight scenes are fairly well choreographed
- the main character is a likeable monster without being too corny
however,
- there’s a good amount of goonerbait
- there are a couple of tired tropes that I would’ve liked the author to avoid
- youll need to suspend your disbelief that a bunch of highschoolers could perform as adults
- there’s – as of now – not a single character that’s in the same league of “fleshed out” as the main character
It’s still a solid 4/5 (for real, not a mangaread.org 4/5).
