Infinite Mage

I read to chapter 78 (current chapter). Overall this one is pretty good, maybe an 8/10.

This is essentially a school life academy manhua. There’s really not a lot of fighting in this, at least not until the later chapters, but there are cool competitions and magic spells to keep you interested.

Art is fantastic.

The power systems are really original and cool, and have a lot of “science” and philosophy behind their explanations which is good and bad. I love the fresh take on magic and the little bits of science sprinkled in, but its all bullshit science (I don’t mind, it’s a fictional universe after all)… But sometimes it just drones on and on with bullshit “word salad” as some people were calling it lol.

There’s one really bad arc, which was some of the hottest garbage I’ve ever read, but it gets better again after it, so just read through it (the “teleportation” arc btw).

The MC is smart but he’s kind of a softie goody two shoes for the most part, but I like him overall.

There’s also a lot of crying and sticking to friendship, and never giving up on your friends anime energy in this which I’m not a fan of, but it’s whatever.

Yeah, give it a read imo. The best parts of this manhua easily outweighs the cons. (Latest chapter kinda SUS though, and in a child predator kinda way, but I can’t say for certain yet since there’s no more chapters yet… So yeah, hopefully it keeps clear)
