Wtf is happening, it was such a good start, it’s like going insane right now. Isekai’d to some insane world that makes absolutely no sense, i can’t even begin to predict how many chapters are left in this “heaven” arc. Probably more than 50. It’s so ass lmao.

There is this theme in anime and manga where what is naturally evil in our lives is rebranded slowly as protagonists. Devil’s doing good work and angles always the bad guys. And it spreads through alot manga and manhwas in so many different genres. I know that these books and novel and works are made for kids. I grew up with them and still read and watch anime but I fear for the kids. There is a clear brain washing going on with these medias as well. God protect the children.

Quality dropped fast from ch 100. If you’re bummed at the drop but can’t explain how the story can be done right, read Star Embracing Swordmaster with 121+ch to read.
Similar rags-to-riches story where you root for the guy as he grows, and he delivers…then delivers more against setbacks.

No flowery unrealistic ideals that act as zombie-filler. They both grew up poor, but the author there understands that living poor with dreams is different in reality when keeping braindead ideals that’ll get you killed on the street. Here, it’s likely a middle class author using the MC to puppet his ideas while reliving high school fantasies rather than respecting the MC as a living character.

There, you’ll find real progression and less annoying characters that shout and do goofy stuff to fill up panels before a cliffhanger that mostly turn into nothing burgers. No simple hs drama stuff that drags this and Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound from peak into a weekly quagmire of mid storylines.

i remember dropping this pretty early because it went into a crappy direction with schools and crappy bullies and annoying girlfriends. did it get actually good or get a real story plot or anything actually worth reading?

It was entertaining for a while but he remains naive entirely too long. It made sense when he was a child, or just entering the school. Later in the story? It’s just annoying.
