I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see the protagonist visit the future, even if only briefly. Most Isekais don’t bother this relatively late into the story, since it’s usually a means to an end… to give the reader a perspective character who knows and thinks the same as them, despite being otherwise out of place in the story’s primary setting. I’m a little curious as to if it’ll lead to anything.
