you can tell you paid attention to nothing at all in this story. he can only materialize something that falls in line with the reality of the current world. thats 1. secondly his powers are severely nerfed thanks to aria. third even with his powers nerfed its too much for the current people of the world. creating a potion with his magic is like me giving you an entire bottle of pills for a headache.

He has ZERO training. years of unable to use magic. He went to the academy to learn and for what? the very powers to be sent him off to a war against monsters. He learned nothing about himself or his abilities. Sounds like only aria knows the truth and she wont even tell him.

He “can’t make elixirs with scrolls for plot reasons”, but he don’t need to do it with scrolls anymore since he can use his mana directly, so “no elixirs anymore” rule is a stupid plothole.
