Why did the “demon king” not dodge like anything? I know over confidence is a thing but if something starts to do damage to you you’d try dodging it.

He was just a show off as the gunner.
1. He ran towards the mobs instead of maintaining his distance with his ranged weapons.
2. He jumped to fire single target shots instead of lining up his penetrating shots to hit multiple enemies.
3. He did an unnecessary matrix dodge and even stayed in an almost Jojo pose just to watch the explosion. (Even though, everyone knows that cool folk have their backs turned towards explosions)
