Do you read? He forgot how to control mana and the feeling of how to do it so ofc itll be different when he can’t really ignore the pain or regenerate with his mana
From what I understand, Long long ago the first generation of parasites were born, they were a hivemind meant to carry on the demon king’s remaining life (probably got killed by the elves and maybe dwarves cuz the hammer n anvil dude was a dwarf???) and eventually reincarnate him (boyband dude probably got infected by one aswell) however they were mostly hunted down and killed, leaving the other generations to easily break free and pursue their own freedom. Mc just got unlucky and accidentally now carries one of the last traces of the demon king (Maybe one day he’ll free the parasite from the demon king??)

So Mc’s absorption is similar to that of 25th Baam. Interesting

This was beautifully done totally worth it 
congrats 100 chapters 
It’s finally over.
On to hopefully more interesting Arcs.
The flashback was cool but it all dragged on a bit too long to stay interesting.
Hopefully we get to see the naga do weird stuff again soon. And the MC learn how to use magic while speed running a montage or something.
even after all that, I still don’t understand what happened in this chapter.
MC did go into the depths of his….mana channel? But then, what does that accomplish…?
If this unlocks his ability to use all of the down gems he had consumed so far (which supposedly “locked” because the brainwashing was gone), it seems too… quick? I don’t know how to describe it, it feels like, MC doesn’t understand it, then in a couple of minutes, bam, he does.
