See the second to last panel too and then look closely at the last panel.
Note the parasite coming out of the face of the green monster enemy which wasnt there in the panel before it.
I think he will be given a parasite and survive. Used as a slave for the opposition’s forces.
He’ll be seen later in the present story at some point, imo
wait don’t tell me this is the guy who just fought the MC
If not then this guy might start going on a killing spree and MC might have to kill him?

omg is he still alive somewhere in Gyser?! I hope he didn’t turn evil though, you know with his world view being shattered and the parasite and stuff, i really hope he will meet mc and they will become friends again or something.
MC innocent mind imagine this completely different like everyone telling him story about the outside world and risking their lives to save him
